Etude House, Holika Holika and TonyMoly Product Review

Im finally back with another makeup and skin care product review! I was able to order some new products and try them out over the past few days so I hope you enjoy this review and find it helpful.

Etude House Moistfull Toner

Ive always had good experiences with Etude House products, and Im very happy I decided to purchase this product.

I had previously been using Etude House Be Clear Toner and I was fairly happy with it. (You can find a review on the product in one of my earlier posts on this blog ^^ )

After trying this one out I must say, while I still like the Be Clear Toner, I prefer this one. The consistency is a bit thicker than the Be Clear Toner and it has a smoother feel when applying it. It also doesnt leave my face feeling a bit damp after applying it like the Be Clear Toner.

As far as how well the product works, I would say it works as well as the Be Clear Toner, if not better for my skin type. (Combination oily-dry) This toner leaves my skin looking very bright and clear. It also makes it look and feel firmer and very clean. It also doesnt feel heavy which is a good quality in this product.

Holika Holika Petit BB Cream : Clearing

When I first ordered this BB Cream I was super excited because it said that it would help control sebum buildup on the areas of your skin that get oily throughout the day.

Ive used it a few times since it arrived and overall I am happy with the product, but I would say it controls sebum buildup about as much as my Oil Free BB Cream does. It does an okay job of controlling oil buildup, keeping my makeup looking fresh and not oily for a fair amount of time.

Longer than other BB Creams Ive used and I didnt have to touch it up too much. I ended up having to touch it up and use a sheet of Oil paper around 12:30pm instead of  around 10:00am as I do with other BB Creams/Foundations which is a positive thing about the product. But, I wouldnt say it lasts all day long without having some oil buildup.

Positives:

Great coverage!
Smooth application
Light scent
Blends very well with my skin tone (pale with slight olive undertones)
Okay job of controling oil buildup

Negatives:

Doesnt last all day long in controlling oil buildup

TONYMOLY Dr. Tony Ac Control Acne Cleansing Foam

I recieved a sample of this product and I tried it out on myself and on my sister (who has a different skin type).

Review for Combination Oily - Dry Skin Type

I would say that out of 5 stars I would give this product a 4 out of 5 for my skin type. After using the product my skin felt very clean and fairly soft. It looked clean and bright, as your skin should after cleansing it. I dont usually get acne but for the rare times that I do, I would consider keeping this on hand as I feel it did a good job of settling and making the acne less noticable.

Review for Dry Skin Type

I think this product worked better for my sister who has a dry skin type, and gets acne often. I would give it a 5 out of 5 stars if I were to rate this product for her skin type. Her skin looked noticably cleaner and brighter after using the cleanser and the spots in which she has acne are less noticable and said the condition of her skin felt better after using the cleanser.

Please look forward to my next reviews on the rest of the samples I recieved and I hope you enjoyed and found this post helpful!

GGs hip-hop style has been a hot topic amoung fans and people who work in the fashion world, along with media reporters. Their new song and style has been called "innovative" and "forward-thinking", I must say, I agree.

Fans, as with many other music video styles, are wondering where they can get some of the pieces the girls wore. Well, fans are in luck! Most of the pieces they wore are available for purchase and arent too hard to find!

Here, Ill show a few examples of their eye-catching new style and tell you where to get it and who its designed by.

Product Review : Holika Holika , Lioele , & My Beauty Diary

So, as I promised on my last post, I am going to review the next products that I have ordered!

My Beauty Diary : Facial Absorbent Paper

I have been wanting to try this product for so long and I finally had a chance to order and try it out. I have used this product for a few days and so far I am super impressed with it. I tend to have an oily skin type and my T-zone also tends to look shiny and oily by the middle of the day. This also tends to make my makeup not look so great. Now, instead of having to smudge my makeup to cover up the oily spots, all I have to do is blot the oily areas with a sheet of the paper and my makeup looks as good as when I first put it on, and much less oily. I highly recommend picking up this product if you have oily skin type. This brand comes with 65 sheets of blotting paper and you only have to use one sheet, so this lasts for a good amount of time.

Holika Holika : Water March Moisture Full Cream

I recieved a sample size of this product with my full order of products. I am super happy I got this sample because because I have been searching around for a good face cream and I finally found one that works the best for my skin. This makes my skin look bright, firm and feel very smooth. Ive used this for about a week and I love the effects its had on my skin. I use this after cleansing and toning my face. I love this product because it doesnt make my face feel greasy or weighed down. It absorbes into my skin very well, so I suggest you to try out this product.

Lioele : Secret Pore Bright Gel Foundation

Now, I am not sure how to feel about this product. The sample I got of this foundation did not look like the picture above. The consistancy of the product was very thick and it clumped and flaked when I applied it to my skin. It looked very dull and did not spread out well on  my skin. Im not too sure whether the product was damaged during shipping, or exposed to moisture or maybe it was an old sample that had expired? The consitancy of the product in the picture is much thinner and smoother looking than the sample I got, therefore I cannot give a completely bad review or good review. I am not telling you not to buy it, and Im also not telling you to buy it.

All I can do is give you my experience with it and you can take my opinion and decide whether youd like to give it a try. I hope you all found this review helpful and that you enjoyed it! ^^

Product Review : Skin79 & My Beauty Diary

Hello everyone! As I said in my update post, its been awhile since Ive posted on this blog. But, I am back with 5 new products that I will review, and two of them I will talk about today!

The first product I am going to review is one Im really excited about! Since the weather has gotten pretty cold with it being winter, Im sure alot of people are having trouble with their lips getting dry or cracked. Now, Ive tried a few different kinds of lip balm from different brands and some work okay but they still leave my lips feeling dry and they dont last very long.

So, after trying all these different things that didnt work, I decided to try Skin79s The Premier Essential Lip Balm. Going off of the decription given on the website I got it from, and having heard good things about other Skin79 products, I decided to give it a try.

I have used this lip balm about 5 or 6 times since I got it and this is by far the best lip balm Ive used. What I love about it is that it doesnt make your lips or the area around them feel greasy or heavy. It goes on smoothly and doesnt have any strong scent or strange taste like many of the other balms Ive tried. Another thing I love is that it has a glossy finish, making it look very nice when youre wearing it.

Aside from how well it looks and feels, this product really works. Like I said before, Ive used it about 5 or 6 times and my lips already look less dry and feel alot smoother and healthier. One other bonus is that you dont have to apply alot of it or keep applying it as it lasts for a good amount of time in my opinion.

So, if you have problems with dry or cracked lips in the winter I highly suggest that you try this product. If you want to check out this product more for yourself or purchase it,  I will provide the link to the website in which I bought this item from at the bottom of this post!

The next product I would like to share with you all is the Japanese Cherry Blossom Mask by My Beauty Diary.

Overall, I am pleased with how this mask works and what it does for my skin. Although Ive only tried this mask once (it is recommended to use the mask at least 2 times a week for best results) I will say that I will be ordering more of these. After using this mask, my skin looked much brighter and felt twice as soft as before I used this mask. One other thing that I liked was that it made my skin look and feel much firmer and supple.

Now, for what I didnt like so much about this product is how thin the material was that the mask was made out of. While I unfolded the mask, it riped on the bottom which I wasnt very happy about but I was still able to use the mask well. Other masks Ive used are made of much thicker material.

Despite these small design issues, I think the quality of this mask is excellent. I would still suggest you try out these masks as I love what it did for my skin, but maybe I should just be more careful opening it? ^.^

I purchased this product from the same site as the Lip Balm so you can just search the name of the products in the search bar on the website or just browse the brand names to find them!

Etude House Nymph Aura Volumer

I have recently been able to try a sample of Nymph Aura Volumer by Etude House.

The sample I got had enough product in it for about 5-6 uses. Which, was just enough for me to really test it out and see if I really liked the product.

Now, if you dont know what a volumer is, well you basically mix it with your BB Cream and it gives your face  a brighter, more glossy look.

There are two types of Volumer #01 and #02.

The volumer with the more orange tint is #01 and the baby pink colored volumer is #02.

I recieved the #02 version of the product.

Overall, I was happy with the product, it did what it said it would do. It brightened my skin tone and made it look clear, glossy and even.

However, what I did not like about the version I recieved was that after about 2 hours, my T-zone looked too glossy, almost oily. It also started to feel a bit heavy on my skin after a few hours. I tried using a smaller amount of the product the next day to see if it would make my skin feel and look less oily. It didnt really help and there was still sebum build up just as the day before.

Therefore, I wouldnt really recommened this, or at least #02 to people who have oily skin types. I would love to try #01 and see if it works better for my skin type, because I love this product and what it does for my skin otherwise.

I still suggest you try this product out for yourself and see if it works for you!
I hope you found this helpful and enjoyed the post, as always feel free to leave questions, comments and helpful suggestions on how to make this blog better! Also, feel free to request a review or more information on any product (from Korea, Japan or China/Taiwan) that you want! ^^
