Im finally back with another makeup and skin care product review! I was able to order some new products and try them out over the past few days so I hope you enjoy this review and find it helpful.
Etude House Moistfull Toner
Ive always had good experiences with Etude House products, and Im very happy I decided to purchase this product.
I had previously been using Etude House Be Clear Toner and I was fairly happy with it. (You can find a review on the product in one of my earlier posts on this blog ^^ )
After trying this one out I must say, while I still like the Be Clear Toner, I prefer this one. The consistency is a bit thicker than the Be Clear Toner and it has a smoother feel when applying it. It also doesnt leave my face feeling a bit damp after applying it like the Be Clear Toner.
As far as how well the product works, I would say it works as well as the Be Clear Toner, if not better for my skin type. (Combination oily-dry) This toner leaves my skin looking very bright and clear. It also makes it look and feel firmer and very clean. It also doesnt feel heavy which is a good quality in this product.
Holika Holika Petit BB Cream : Clearing
When I first ordered this BB Cream I was super excited because it said that it would help control sebum buildup on the areas of your skin that get oily throughout the day.
Ive used it a few times since it arrived and overall I am happy with the product, but I would say it controls sebum buildup about as much as my Oil Free BB Cream does. It does an okay job of controlling oil buildup, keeping my makeup looking fresh and not oily for a fair amount of time.
Longer than other BB Creams Ive used and I didnt have to touch it up too much. I ended up having to touch it up and use a sheet of Oil paper around 12:30pm instead of around 10:00am as I do with other BB Creams/Foundations which is a positive thing about the product. But, I wouldnt say it lasts all day long without having some oil buildup.
Positives:
Great coverage!
Smooth application
Light scent
Blends very well with my skin tone (pale with slight olive undertones)
Okay job of controling oil buildup
Negatives:
Doesnt last all day long in controlling oil buildup
TONYMOLY Dr. Tony Ac Control Acne Cleansing Foam
I recieved a sample of this product and I tried it out on myself and on my sister (who has a different skin type).
Review for Combination Oily - Dry Skin Type
I would say that out of 5 stars I would give this product a 4 out of 5 for my skin type. After using the product my skin felt very clean and fairly soft. It looked clean and bright, as your skin should after cleansing it. I dont usually get acne but for the rare times that I do, I would consider keeping this on hand as I feel it did a good job of settling and making the acne less noticable.
Review for Dry Skin Type
I think this product worked better for my sister who has a dry skin type, and gets acne often. I would give it a 5 out of 5 stars if I were to rate this product for her skin type. Her skin looked noticably cleaner and brighter after using the cleanser and the spots in which she has acne are less noticable and said the condition of her skin felt better after using the cleanser.
